Job description

Assistant Property Manager (200-299 units) - The Retreat

We are seeking a dedicated team player to join our team as the Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the community under the supervision of the Property Manager. You should be capable of assuming full responsibility for the community in the Property Manager's absence.

Responsibilities:
  • Support site management activities
  • Adhere to established management policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency
  • Manage sales and leasing activities, ensuring timely rent collection and deposits
  • Review and process all resident applications
  • Handle site administration tasks
  • Maximize occupancy, minimize vacancy and rental losses
  • Ensure compliance with lease agreements and governmental regulations
  • Maintain positive resident relations by addressing requests and emergencies promptly and courteously
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • RAM Certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with residents, peers, and supervisors
  • Good judgment and self-control
  • Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, trustworthiness, integrity, and honesty
  • Ability to work independently with initiative
  • Knowledge of Tax Credit programs, Microsoft Office, OneSite, or willingness to learn
Physical Demands:

Involves bending, kneeling, stretching, climbing stairs and ladders, squatting, lifting up to 15 pounds regularly, and occasionally lifting over 15 pounds.
