Description

We are looking for a strong team player to join our team. As the Assistant Property Manager, you are responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the community under the direction of the Property Manager. The Assistant Property Manager is able to assume responsibility for the community in the Property Manager’s absence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Site management support
  • Comply with established management policies and procedures for maximum operational efficiency.
  1. Sales and leasing activity
  • Ensure that rents are collected and deposited in a timely manner to minimize budgetary/administrative problems
  • Review and follow up on all resident applications.
  1. Site administration
  • Perform effectively to maximize occupancy rates, minimize vacancy loss and minimize rental loss
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with or enforce lease agreements and governmental requirements
  1. Resident relations
  • Attend to resident requests and/or emergency needs in an expedient and cordial manner
  1. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • RAM Certification preferred
  • Good human relations skills to deal with residents, peers and supervisors
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and self-control
  • Enthusiasm, good attitude, trustworthiness, personal integrity and honesty
  • The ability to work on your own without continual supervision and guidance. Must have initiative
  • Knowledge of Tax Credit, Microsoft Office applications, OneSite or ability to learn these programs

Physical Functions

Bending, kneeling, stretching, climbing stairs and ladders, squatting, and lifting up to fifteen (15) pounds, running and lifting over fifteen (15) pounds occasionally
