Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Property Manager with financial experience. Experience in multi-family property management is required.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily transactions and tasks related to the financial operation of the community by collecting and posting rent, fees, and other payments, preparing deposits and financial reports.
  • Review and submit invoices from vendors and service providers for payment.
  • Review resident files and accounting records, communicate with residents regarding outstanding balances, and implement procedures for collecting on delinquencies.
  • Process resident move-outs by reviewing lease terms and notice requirements.
  • Follow up on service requests with the maintenance team and ensure the resident's requests have been completed.
  • Generate interest by highlighting your community’s unique features and benefits, and what sets it apart from the competition.
  • Promote resident satisfaction by serving as a resource for residents to express their concerns and assisting with resolution.
  • Act as the onsite supervisor in the absence of the Property Manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus.
  • Valid Driver’s license is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Industry software experience preferred (YARDI Voyager, OnSite, etc.).
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
