Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to lead a busy residential community in Portland, OR. The role emphasizes leading by example, delivering top-tier service to residents and driving lease growth.

You will manage day-to-day operations, budgets, and team performance while maintaining Bozzuto’s standards and brand across both interior and exterior spaces.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries.
• Exposure to revenue, P&L and budget management.
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and a passion to create and deliver engaging and distinctive content.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Sales aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, uphold Bozzuto standards and culture.
• Achieve financial objectives through rent collection and delinquency management.
• Conduct informative and personalized tours leading to new leases.
• Build brand loyalty by ensuring positive resident interactions.
• Maintain interiors and exteriors in impeccable condition and present Bozzuto professionally.
• Coach, mentor and inspire team members.
• Work weekends when prospective residents are active.
• Step in as leader when the Property Manager is not present.

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Property Manager (APM), your primary responsibilities include:

• Tuesday-Saturday 9am-6pm
• Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
• Achieving financial objectives through rent collection and by managing delinquency
• Sales and marketing to include conducting informative and personalized tours of the community which result in new leases
• Building brand loyalty by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
• Ensuring that the community’s interior and exterior are impeccable and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance
• Coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members
• Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home
• Stepping in and taking responsibility for leading when the Property Manager is not present

What You Bring to Us:

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries
• Exposure to revenue, P&L and budget management
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and a passion to create and deliver engaging and distinctive content
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Competent with industry software (YARDI preferred), apps and computer programs
• Sales aptitude

This position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Salary Range: $25 — $27 USD
