Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to lead leasing and community operations. You will drive revenue, oversee tours, and mentor team members while ensuring top-notch resident experiences. The role requires a focus on budget management, strong communication, and brand representation across the property.

Weekend coverage is required on a monthly basis, with opportunities for bonus and career growth within Bozzuto's supportive culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto's standards and culture.
• Achieve objectives through rent collection and delinquency management.
• Conduct informative, personalized tours to generate new leases.
• Improve resident experiences and brand loyalty.
• Ensure community maintenance and professional appearance.
• Coach and mentor team members.
• Cover weekend shifts when prospective residents visit; 1–2 weekends/month.
• Step in for Property Manager when absent.

Primary Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Property Manager (APM), your primary responsibilities include:

• Leading by example, living the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values and culture of Bozzuto
• Achieving financial objectives through rent collection and by managing delinquency
• Sales and marketing to include conducting informative and personalized tours of the community which result in new leases
• Building brand loyalty by striving to ensure every resident interaction is positive
• Ensuring that the community’s interior and exterior are impeccable and the team appropriately represents the Bozzuto brand with a crisp, professional appearance
• Coaching, mentoring and inspiring team members
• Working weekends when prospective residents are out looking for their new home—one to two weekends per month with two days off during the week
• Stepping in and taking responsibility for leading when the Property Manager is not present

What You Bring to Us:

• 4 year college degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 2+ years of experience in the property management, hospitality or retail industries
• Exposure to revenue, P&L and budget management
• Proficient in leveraging social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and a passion to create and deliver engaging and distinctive content
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Competentwith industry software (YARDI preferred), apps and computer programs
• Sales aptitude

This position is eligible for additional bonus opportunities.

Salary Range

$67,000—$70,000 USD
