Day-to-Day Responsibilities

The Assistant Property Manager should be process-oriented, passionate about customer service, detail-oriented, and capable of leadership. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing payables and collections with accuracy and consistency
  • Providing exceptional service to residents regarding leases, maintenance, and inquiries
  • Assisting with marketing efforts, community events, and outreach
  • Collaborating with the Property Manager and team members onsite, regionally, and at corporate
  • Communicating effectively via email, phone, social media, and in person
  • Leasing and pre-leasing apartments, ensuring compliance and understanding lease requirements
  • Maintaining a clean and prideful work environment, including community upkeep
Minimum Requirements

Candidates should possess:

  • Leadership ability and desire to work within a team
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Empathy, collaboration, and engagement skills
  • Solution-oriented mindset to improve residents' lives
  • 2-3 years of customer service or sales experience
  • Adherence to Fair Housing practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Property management experience or skills
