AMCS in Charleston, SC is hiring two Assistant Property Managers to oversee daily operations of residential communities. The role focuses on leasing, maintenance, and resident relations while delivering excellent service and maintaining high property standards.

The position requires strong communication, organization, and knowledge of property management practices, with on-site work and 40-hour weeks. Salary is $27 per hour and benefits include health, dental, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• 4 years as an assistant manager or in a similar role.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to commute to North Charleston, SC.
• Experience with OneSite or similar property management software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls in a warm, welcoming manner.
• Manage all aspects of community operations including leasing, maintenance, and resident relations.
• Utilize OneSite for leases, tenant communications, and property records.
• Assist in property inspections to ensure compliance.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain residents.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors for maintenance services.
• Maintain records related to housing programs and assist residents in options.
• Collaborate with maintenance to address issues and organize community events.
