Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for a full-time role in Medford, OR. The position involves showing units, guiding customers through the leasing process, and achieving retail sales and occupancy objectives.

Responsibilities include delivering excellent customer service, handling cash, and maintaining our properties to established cleanliness and operational standards. Weekend availability is required, with training provided for on-the-job development.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and customer service.
• Ability to meet leasing targets and occupancy objectives.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Show available units and guide customers through leasing.
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing storage needs.
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash.
• General office tasks: filing, managing customer accounts, mail/deliveries.
• Maintain property to standard (cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, bulbs).
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

West Coast Self-Storage Group has a full-time opening in for Assistant Property Manager. Ideal candidates would have retail sales and customer service experience and are looking to grow within our career path.

Schedule:

Mon & Tues, Thurs-Sat (Off Wed/Sun). Full-time, 10:00am-6:00pm.

Day to Day:

• Show available units and guide customers through the leasing process
• Meet retail sales and occupancy objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service including assessing customers storage needs (in person, phone and web inquiries)
• Manage, audit and balance cash drawer and petty cash
• General office tasks, e.g., filing, managing customer accounts, sorting mail/deliveries
• Maintain property to West Coast’s Clean & Operational standards, e.g., cleaning vacated units, sweeping, mopping, changing light bulbs
• Other duties assigned by leadership

What You Will Bring:

• Retail Sales, Cash Management, and Customer Service experience
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
• Ability to work weekends and some holidays (required)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
