As an Assistant Property Manager, you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of a designated community (or communities). You will ensure exceptional service delivery, resident satisfaction, and overall operational efficiency. You will also work closely with your Property Manager to develop your skills, broaden your responsibilities, and strengthen your ability to assume their role in their absence. This position is as much about people as it is about operations. You'll work directly with residents, prospective residents, vendors, and your internal team to ensure the community runs smoothly and residents feel supported. Operations:
Support the recording and reporting of financial data alongside your manager, deepening your understanding of property financials including operating budget awareness, expense tracking, and the impact financial decisions have on the overall performance of the community.
Draft and distribute resident communications, including notices and community-wide announcements, ensuring residents are informed and messaging is timely, clear, and consistent with housing compliance and company standards.
Serve as the acting Property Manager in their absence, assuming full on-site responsibility including resident and vendor escalations, weekly and monthly reporting, and overall community operations.
Maintain compliance with Fair Housing regulations and all applicable state and federal laws, ensuring consistent and equitable practices across all leasing, resident relations, and operational functions.
