About The Role

As an Assistant Property Manager, you'll be part of a dynamic team ensuring our residents have a high-quality, affordable place to call home and access to programs that enhance their quality of life. Your work will directly impact individuals and families by maintaining high standards of property management while fostering inclusive communities. We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager for King's Landing Apartments, a 108-unit community on 17 acres in Brewster, Massachusetts on Cape Cod.

Reporting to a Property Manager, the successful candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment and should possess:

• Experience with government-assisted and subsidized housing programs.
• Certification as a Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist.
• Experience in day-to-day operations, maintenance, marketing, leasing, occupancy, and tenant certifications.
• Strong communication skills, computer proficiency (MS-Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with Yardi software.
• Ability to create a harmonious, cohesive atmosphere with residents and staff.
• Flexibility, positive attitude, team orientation, and willingness to learn.

The role involves managing tasks such as ensuring compliance with HUD and state regulations, safety standards, contract preparation, rent collection, and certifications, in collaboration with staff.
