Job summary

Venice Community Housing (VCH) seeks an Assistant Property & Asset Manager to support property managers with annual recertifications, compliance reporting, and vendor coordination across our 340+ unit portfolio. This role emphasizes trauma-informed tenant interactions and meticulous administrative support.

You will assist with intake interviews, documentation, RealPage tasks, and capital-repair coordination while coordinating with the Director and Property Management team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in property management, leasing, or a related administrative role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake interviews for applicants and tenant recertifications.
• Collect and organize required household documentation.
• Follow up with tenants/applicants to ensure timely submissions.
• Submit and follow-up for third‑party verifications.
• Scan documents and upload to Real Page Compliance Services.
• Enter information into Real Page and create Tenant Income Certifications.
• Coordinate site inspections and proposals for capital repairs.
• Maintain vendor list and coordinate with management.
• Process rent payments and track delinquencies.
• Conduct routine site walks and ensure property safety.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies when needed.
