The Assistant Property & Asset Manager will be responsible for the administrative tasks associated with property and asset management, including assisting property managers to complete annual recertifications, track and coordinate compliance reporting, seek bids for capital work throughout the portfolio, and conduct basic property management functions during vacations and vacancies on the property management team.
The Assistant Property & Asset Manager reports to the Director of Property and Asset Management, works closely with the Compliance Specialist and Property Management Team. They bring attention to detail, strong follow-through, and a trauma-informed approach to all tenant interactions, contributing to a stable and mission-aligned property environment.

Salary ranges from $42,000 - $45,000 (paid on an hourly basis) plus a rent-free one-bedroom unit with all utilities paid. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Job frequently requires sitting for extended periods of time entering data into a computer and handling objects with hands. Job occasionally requires standing, walking, reaching, talking, driving, hearing, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Occasionally ascends/descends stairs, move inside and outside the office, apartments, buildings, etc. Required to have visual acuity to perform the following tasks: operate a motor vehicle, view a computer terminal, see information in print and/or electronically, reading, and writing.
