This position within the State Aid for Local Transportation Division will be part of a team that delivers the local, state aid, state transportation, and federal programs to counties, cities, and townships statewide.This position acts as a technical liaison and resource to leadership and local agencies in the State Aid for Local Transportation group.This position will provide support to the Jurisdictional Transfer Program.
Assist the Projects Engineer with the implementation of program goals, objectives, policies and procedures for the Jurisdictional Transfer program.
Assist the Projects Engineer with coordination between DSAEs and local agencies on the negotiation of jurisdictional transfers.Assist with providing any technical, historical, and legislative knowledge regarding jurisdictional transfers.
Project management and assist with project coordination, research and sharing of technical information related to special projects led or co-led by State Aid Operation.
Licensure as a professional engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). If obtaining licensure through comity (reciprocity), a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment.
