Job summary

Ridgemont Resources, Inc. in the North Tampa Bay / Hernando County area is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent to back up the Project Superintendent on a design-build highway project.

The role involves managing subs, foremen and crews, coordinating field operations on FDOT work, and ensuring safety and quality. Qualified candidates have 5–7 years in heavy civil highway construction, FDOT contract experience, and reside in Tampa Bay or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years in heavy civil highway construction.
• Experience with FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• Current level of Assistant Superintendent, General Foreman or senior Foreman.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or ready to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Keep daily reports, logs and field documentation current
• Handle quality control in the field

An established heavy civil contractor is hiring an Assistant Project Superintendent for a design build highway job north of Tampa Bay. This is a strong opportunity for an Assistant Superintendent, or a General Foreman or Roadway Foreman ready to step up, who wants a stable employer and a real path to Superintendent. You'll back up the Project Superintendent and run subs, foremen and crews day to day, much of it FDOT work. Tampa Bay and Central Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.
