Job summary

United Future is seeking an Assistant Project Superintendent for a design-build highway project north of Tampa Bay. This full-time onsite role backs up the Project Superintendent and leads subs, foremen and crews, with a focus on FDOT work and field operations in the North Tampa Bay / Hernando County region.

You should have 5–7 years in heavy civil highway construction, FDOT contract experience, and a valid driver’s license. OSHA 10 is a plus.

An established heavy civil contractor is hiring an Assistant Project Superintendent for a design build highway job north of Tampa Bay. This is a strong opportunity for an Assistant Superintendent, or a General Foreman or Roadway Foreman ready to step up, who wants a stable employer and a real path to Superintendent. You'll back up the Project Superintendent and run subs, foremen and crews day to day, much of it FDOT work. Tampa Bay and Central Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.

What You'll Be Responsible For

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 7 years in heavy civil highway construction
• Experience with FDOT contracts, specs and reporting
• Current level of Assistant Superintendent, General Foreman or senior Foreman
• OSHA 10 is a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or ready to relocate
