Job summary

Valcourt Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial waterproofing and restoration projects in Panama City, FL. You will assist with estimating, scheduling, procurement, documentation, and field coordination to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
1–2 years of related construction, waterproofing, restoration, estimating, or project coordination experience preferred.
Commercial construction experience strongly preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in managing commercial waterproofing and restoration projects to ensure scopes are completed per specs.
Review drawings, specifications, and scope requirements for accuracy.
Assist with preparing bids, estimates, and project proposals.
Perform accurate take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment.
Help collect and maintain vendor pricing for materials and subcontracted services.
Procure materials, tools, equipment, and supplies for active projects.
Ensure materials are documented with purchase orders and related paperwork.
Support submittals, RFIs, change orders, warranties, and closeout documents.
Communicate project details and schedule updates to PM, foreman, and crews.
Coordinate between ownership teams, engineers, vendors, and crews.
Visit sites to review progress and verify field conditions.
Monitor progress, punch lists, and closeout requirements.
