Job summary

VALCOURT EXTERIOR BUILDING SERVICES OF FLORIDA L C is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and manage commercial waterproofing, façade restoration, concrete repair, and building-envelope projects from preconstruction through closeout.

You will work with estimators, operations managers, superintendents, field crews, and clients to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across occupied facilities and parking structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in construction management, engineering, architecture, business, or related field.
• Minimum of five years of commercial construction or specialty contracting experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years of project management experience preferred.
• Direct experience in waterproofing, façade restoration, parking garage rehabilitation, or building-envelope construction strongly preferred.
• Experience managing projects in occupied commercial buildings, high-rise properties, multifamily properties, institutional facilities, and parking structures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and startup: manage waterproofing, façade restoration, concrete repair, and building-envelope projects from award through final completion.
• Review contracts, proposals, drawings, specs, schedules, and scope requirements.
• Coordinate transition of awarded projects from estimating to operations and develop execution plans and budgets.
• Identify risks, long-lead materials, and critical schedule activities; conduct kickoff meetings.
• Ensure field teams have approved drawings, materials, tools, and information to perform work.
• Monitor progress, safety, quality, productivity, and client expectations on multiple active projects.
