Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist the Project Manager on construction projects. The role is full-time on a jobsite in Plymouth, NC with travel. Strong scheduling, estimating, and CMiC systems experience are preferred.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, 3–4 years of construction experience, and 1–2 years of utility-scale experience (200MW+) is a plus. SOLV Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years construction experience.
• 1+ years scheduling and estimating experience.
• 1-2 years of utility scale construction (200MW or above) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Estimate, prepare and negotiate Change Orders.
• Write subcontract Change Orders.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare Purchase Orders and Rental Agreements.
• Supervise and train Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
