Aldridge Electric in the Chicagoland area is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Utility team. You will work with the project team to ensure a quality project is produced safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities include pre-job planning, cost and labor tracking, document control, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and contract compliance. Travel-friendly and with a bachelor’s degree in relevant field; strong communication and problem-solving required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent construction/union trade background.
• Internships or other relevant work experience.
• Excellent communication and time management.
• Ability to travel.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe job sites.
• Pre‑job planning.
• Cost and labor tracking.
• Document control (material submittals, RFIs, change orders, etc.).
• Procurement of material and tools.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Contract compliance.
