David E. Looper & Company seeks an Assistant Project Manager - Structural Construction to support a Data Center build in Dallas, TX.

You will assist with planning, coordination, and execution of concrete, foundations, precast, roofing, and related structural scopes, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control. The role requires strong organization, communication, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of construction/industrial experience preferred.
• Experience with large commercial or data center projects preferred.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam and MS Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with daily coordination and administrative duties.
• Support schedules, budgets, and cost tracking activities.
• Assist with subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement activities.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain documentation.
• Support material tracking and project logistics activities.
• Assist with closeout activities including punch lists and O&M manuals, warranty docs, as-builts.
• Maintain organized project records and ensure timely documentation flow.

Position Summary The Assistant Project Manager - Structural Construction supports the Project Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of the Data Center construction project in Dallas, TX, from mobilization through closeout, with a primary focus on concrete, foundations, precast, roofing, and related structural scopes of work. This role assists with project documentation, cost tracking, scheduling coordination, procurement activities, and communication with field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to help ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining DELCO quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with daily project coordination and administrative responsibilities.


• Support management of project schedules, budgets, and cost tracking activities.


• Assist with subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and procurement activities.


• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.


• Coordinate communication between field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.


• Participate in project meetings and maintain meeting documentation.


• Support material tracking and project logistics activities.


• Assist with project closeout activities including punch lists and O&M manuals, warranty documentation, as-built drawings, and closeout documents.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.


• 2+ years of construction experience is preferred.


• Experience supporting large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, concrete, precast, roofing, or structural construction projects is preferred.


• Strong organizational and time management skills.


• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, construction management software, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.


• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.
