Job summary

VIXXO is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager for our Construction Team. The role focuses on leading multi-discipline remodel projects for convenience stores, including major/minor remodels and acquisitions, with accountability for on-time delivery, budget adherence, and meeting project objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of construction or project management experience.
• Previous experience with retail store projects is a plus.
• Ability to read architectural/engineering drawings and forecast budgets.
• Demonstrates capability to read, understand and apply standards to complex documents.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering or Construction Management and/or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• High volume project management for individual construction projects ranging in scope from $5,000 to $500,000, including planning, design, execution, occupancy and closeout.
• Accountable for timely completion and ensuring construction aligns with plans, specs, and local codes.
• Interfaces with clients to define project requirements; prepares scope of work, budget, schedule, milestones and quality control.
