Job summary

The Green Recruitment Company is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to oversee large-scale utility solar projects on a full-time, site-based basis with a monthly rotation.

You will coordinate budget tracking, scheduling, change orders, and purchases; maintain strong relationships with Owners, subcontractors and vendors; administer QA/QC and safety programs; and deliver regular daily/weekly/monthly reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience on renewable energy or T&D projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall project management and oversight of large-scale utility solar projects.
• Assist in tracking budget delivery, scheduling, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Interact regularly with Owner, comply with client needs and submit regular reporting.
• Maintain relationships between customers and subcontractors.
• Monitor construction activities, productivity, and create daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Administer QA/QC program as work progresses.
• Assist project manager and O&M team to close out projects.
• Manage and update project schedule with schedulers.
• Contract and manage Subcontractors and vendors for the site.
• Coordinate with engineering and field team to troubleshoot field challenges.
• Assist in cost forecasting for projects.
• Conduct pre-construction meetings, coordinate subs, and inspections; maintain subcontractor relationships.
• Assist project engineers with RFIs & Submittals.
• Collaborate with engineering team on challenges in the field.
• Manage subcontractors onsite to keep schedule and budget on track.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall project management and oversight of large-scale utility solar projects.
• Assist in tracking budget delivery, scheduling, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Interacts regularly with Owner, complies with client's needs and submits regular reporting, as required.
• Maintain relationships between the customers and subcontractors.

• Assist project manager and O&M team to effectively close out projects.
• Assists Project Manager and company schedulers to manage and update project schedule.
• Assists Project Manager to contract and manage Subcontractors and vendors for the site.
• Coordinate with engineering and field team to trouble shoot field challenges.
• Assists in cost forecasting for projects.
• Conducts trade pre-construction meetings, coordinates subcontractors and vendors, coordinates permit inspections, and maintains any subcontractor relationships.
• Assists project engineers with RFI’s & Submittals.
• Works closely with engineering team to come up with solutions for any challenges that may be encountered in the field.
• Manages Subcontractors onsite to ensure that project is on schedule and within budget.
