Colliers Engineering & Design in Tampa, FL, seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support municipal infrastructure planning and delivery. You will work with multidisciplinary teams, assist senior leaders, and help manage scope, schedule, and budgets for public sector projects.

The role offers growth through exposure to site investigations, design development, and coordination across disciplines—ideal for advancing a civil engineering and project management career in a dynamic government services

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 3-8 years of work on public infrastructure improvement projects and development reviews.
• PE preferred; EIT required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Hydrology Design Software preferred.
• Experience coordinating and overseeing the work efforts of assigned staff regarding scope, schedule, quality and budget of projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform site investigations and due diligence to determine constraints, utility availability, and conflicts.
• Prepare conceptual designs for public infrastructure projects based on client input and site investigations.
• Prepare construction plans, specifications, and bid documents for public sector projects.
• Prepare construction cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
• Review permits and regulatory requirements for construction, including Florida regulations where applicable.
• Review site plans and development documents for compliance with regulations.
• Organize and track project tasks.
• Delegate work and schedule staff.
• Coordinate with other company disciplines on projects.
