Job summary

Flowtec Construction, a downtown Chicago general contractor, seeks an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join its team. You will contribute to projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, architects, and field teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Open to candidates with experience delivering commercial construction projects, with growth from APM toward Project Executive as you progress.

Flowtec Construction is partnering with an established $500M general contractor looking to add an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to its downtown Chicago team.

The company delivers a diverse range of projects throughout Chicagoland, including:

• Commercial interiors
• Hospitality
• Entertainment venues
• Specialty projects

Depending on experience, you’ll join as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager and contribute to projects throughout the full construction lifecycle—from preconstruction and procurement through delivery and closeout.

Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors and field teams
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders and procurement
• Supporting or leading project budgets and schedules
• Monitoring project progress, costs and quality
• Participating in owner and subcontractor meetings
• Helping identify and resolve project risks
• Taking on greater project ownership as you progress

The company offers exposure to multiple project types, direct access to senior leadership and a clear progression path from APM through Project Executive.

Compensation

• Project Manager: $130K–$160K base
• 15–20% annual bonus
• $750–$1,000 monthly vehicle allowance
• Work from home 1–2 days per week
