Job summary

HRB in Owings Mills, MD seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support project execution from award through closeout. This onsite role collaborates with Project Managers and field leadership to keep projects organized, on schedule, and compliant with contract requirements.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on construction experience who wants to grow into project management, especially with metals/structural trades background.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction industry experience.
• Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Procore and Bluebeam proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/structural drawings.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from initiation through closeout under PM guidance.
• Assist with takeoffs and scope verification for all projects.
• Set up new project structures in Procore based on project type.
• Send introductory emails to clients with billing and insurance docs; coordinate with accounting.
• Help build preliminary project schedules in Procore with tasks and sub-tasks.
• Review budgets with PM to understand material and labor needs.
• Generate RFIs and compile permits; coordinate with detailing teams.
