Job summary

Bowman Steel Fabrication and Erection is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will coordinate with internal teams, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep projects moving efficiently while maintaining strong communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in structural steel, miscellaneous metals, or commercial construction.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal teams, clients, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from award through completion.
• Manage schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, procurement, and closeout documentation.
• Coordinate with superintendents, detailers, estimators, fabricators, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, delays, or cost impacts early, and take corrective action.
