About The Role

We are currently looking to fill the position of Assistant Project Manager.

The Assistant Project Manager will assist the Project Management team with all aspects of solar projects, including project planning, budgeting, buyout, construction management, project controls/reporting, scheduling, risk management, etc.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist with planning, budgeting, management, and completion of PV projects
  2. Coordinate design and permitting activities with engineering team and local authorities
  3. Follow Solar Landscape Safety and Quality standards and ensure adherence across teams
  4. Provide input on construction schedules for assigned projects
  5. Solicit, negotiate, and execute subcontracts and purchase orders to support project schedules
  6. Schedule and manage deliveries of materials and equipment, maintain accurate records, and follow up on missing or damaged items
  7. Assist with planning and execution of self-performed work, managing labor crews and subcontractors, planning sequencing, crew sizes, productivity goals, and tracking results
  8. Complete all job closeout procedures including inspections, interconnection, testing, documentation, and reviews
  9. Build trust and rapport with all Solar Landscape departments
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and construction management software such as Dynamics 365
  • Strong understanding of commercial PV construction, including rooftop, ground-mount, and carport installations
  • Knowledge of behind-the-meter and utility interconnection processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards; OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to job sites as needed
  • Ability to climb ladders and access building rooftops
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
