Job summary

Lusardi Construction Company in Las Vegas, NV seeks an Assistant Project Manager to advance from project support to owning responsibilities under guidance. You will develop a strong grasp of project finances, cost reporting, and contracts while coordinating with subs, architects, and owners at the South Las Vegas site.

Responsibilities include preparing estimates, analyzing change orders, processing RFIs and submittals, and creating schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field.
• Working knowledge of construction costs.
• Working knowledge of construction documents (plans, specifications, etc.).
• Working knowledge and background in construction project accounting and job cost reporting.
• Software experience in BlueBeam and construction management software.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MS Project and Outlook.

Assistant Project Manager (APM) at Lusardi Construction is an emerging construction professional who has developed a foundational understanding of commercial construction and the key elements involved in managing a project. At this stage, the APM transitions from primarily supporting project management activities to taking ownership of assigned responsibilities and managing their own projects with close supervision and guidance. A significant focus of the role is developing a strong understanding of the business side of construction, including project financials, cost reporting, contracts, change orders, and job cost management.

The APM will report directly to and work from the project jobsite, located in South Las Vegas near Henderson Executive Airport.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar relevant field
• Working knowledge of construction costs
• Working knowledge of construction documents (plans, specifications, etc.)
• Working knowledge and background in the inner workings of construction project accounting and job cost reporting
• Software experience in BlueBeam and construction management software
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, MS Project and out Outlook

The pay range for this position of employment is expected to be between $75,000/year - $100,000/year. H owever, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors
