Job summary

LVI Associates in Massachusetts is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support land surveying projects. This office-based role involves coordinating field crews, organizing data, and delivering high-quality results, with occasional field duties.

Ideal candidates have a two-year degree with relevant surveying experience and strong communication, organization, and software skills (Carlson, CAD, MS Office). PL S/LSIT is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree with 3–5 years surveying experience, or 5–7 years relevant experience.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Carlson, CAD software, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with field crews regarding data collection requirements.
• Organize and review survey data to create accurate deliverables.
• Provide feedback to field teams and collaborate with project managers.
• Package and submit finalized data for client delivery.
• Attend project briefings and client meetings as needed.
• Perform research, calculations, and drafting tasks.
• Occasionally assist with field work.
• Maintain project task lists and ensure clarity on project scope.
