Ahern is offering a paid Internship for an Assistant Project Manager Intern in Rochester, MN. This role focuses on building your future with hands-on experience in business development, customer service, and project support within a leading mechanical and fire protection contractor.

You will work with service teams and internal software to identify new business opportunities, nurture client relationships, and craft customer communications plans that help market the services Ahern provides.

How You Will Contribute

This is a great opportunity to develop and perfect your sales skills by identifying new business opportunities as well as continue to grow current customer relationships. You will work with our internal software programs and the service teams to research and analyze customer data. You will then work alongside the service team to collaboratively create a customer communication action plan to assist in marketing the services Ahern can provide.

What You Need To Qualify

Candidates should be currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor’s degree in a related field. Knowledge of the construction industry is helpful but not required. A desire for business development, customer service and a desire to win is a must. Candidates should possess strong computer and customer service skills as well as the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Estimated Compensation: $19 - $23 an hour. Final offers based on education, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
