Job summary

LJA is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Land Development to provide drainage analyses and design support for our client base. The H&H group focuses on drainage studies that improve conservation and land development plans.

The role involves managing multiple studies, reviewing requirements, performing hydraulic calculations, and coordinating with internal teams to gather data and deliver project scopes within budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Engineer-in-Training certification required.
• 5+ years of hydrologic and hydraulic analyses experience.
• Proficient in HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing multiple H&H studies for Land Development Projects.
• Review project requirements and prepare models for analysis.
• Perform hydraulic calculations and guide technical staff.
• Coordinate with internal clients for data collection.
• Prepare scopes and budgets for review by the H&H Project Manager.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials.
