Job summary

Kelso Industries, a national HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical solutions provider, seeks a Project Manager to join Kelso Building Services in Ogden, UT. You will manage documentation, budgets, schedules, subcontracts, and subcontractor performance to ensure projects meet scope, time, and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering or construction management, with leadership experience, excellent communication, and proficiency in MS Office and PM

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• PMP/CCM or equivalent certification would be an asset.
• OSHA 30 and safety training are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, management, and storage of project documentation.
• Participate in hand-off meetings to capture critical information before construction.
• Assist PM in preparing budgets.
• Assist in developing and managing construction schedule.
• Develop and write subcontracts and purchase orders as requested.
• Manage subcontractors and performance.
• Organize and distribute submittals.
• Create and distribute RFIs for clarifications.
• Assist in cost resolution with PM and accounting.
• Help price, negotiate, and formalize scope changes.
• Support Superintendents with resources and materials.
