True North Consultants, Inc. seeks an Assistant Project Manager for a major heavy civil highway program in Lakeland, FL. You will assist the PM with planning, subcontracts, and contract admin to keep the project on budget and on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years on heavy civil highway/bridge projects, a relevant four-year degree, and strong submittals/RFIs experience. Relocation to Central Florida is welcome. This is a full-time onsite role with a clear path to advancement.

Competenze

• 3+ years on heavy civil highway or bridge projects as Project Engineer/Field Engineer or APM
• Four year degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Civil Engineering
• Proficient with submittals, RFIs, quantities and pay estimates
• FDOT or Turnpike experience is a plus
• Strong writing and communication under schedule pressure
• Primavera P6, HCSS or Bluebeam is a plus
• Based in Central Florida or willing to relocate to Lakeland area

Location: Lakeland / Polk County, FL area (full time onsite)

An established heavy civil contractor is hiring an Assistant Project Manager for a large multiyear highway program in the Lakeland and Polk County area. This is a strong next step for a Project Engineer ready to move up, or an APM who wants a big job with a long runway and a stable employer. You'll work alongside the project manager on planning, subcontracts and contract administration so the job stays on budget and on schedule, much of it state highway work. Central Florida locals are great, and candidates ready to relocate are welcome.

What You'll Be Responsible For
