Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a heavy civil construction role in Boise, Idaho. The position focuses on supporting project Managers across planning, cost control, scheduling and field coordination for infrastructure projects in the region.

The ideal candidate will have a related degree and 2+ years of heavy civil experience, with strong organization and communication skills and proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Procore and other construction software is a

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years in heavy civil construction or related fields
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite essential
• Experience with construction software a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with planning, execution and delivery of heavy civil projects
• Support budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting and change orders
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, POs, and project documentation
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and field personnel
• Assist with project scheduling and progress tracking
• Monitor production, costs and contract compliance
• Review plans, specs and contract documents
• Attend meetings and record minutes
• Support procurement, subcontract administration and material purchasing
• Help ensure safety, quality, budget and schedule objectives
