Job description

Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D), which now includes Project Management Advisors (PMA), is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support complex healthcare design and construction projects across the New York region. This is an opportunity for a driven, collaborative professional who enjoys solving problems, building relationships, and contributing to projects that directly impact healthcare environments and patient care.

Located in New York, NY, on a hybrid basis.

The Opportunity

At Brailsford & Dunlavey (B&D), we lead the planning, development, and management of the places that shape and strengthen communities—where people live, learn, work, and play. B&D partners with institutions, municipalities, and organizations to shape and deliver complex real estate and capital projects, providing strategic insight and end-to-end advisory services across the full project lifecycle.

B&D recently joined forces with Project Management Advisors, bringing together two nationally recognized leaders in program management and real estate advisory services. Together, the combined firm offers expanded capabilities across industries and throughout the full project lifecycle—from early-stage strategy and planning through execution and beyond.

Our healthcare project management team partners with clients to guide complex projects through planning, design, construction, and occupancy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being highly engaged with clients and project teams, thrives in fast-moving environments, and wants to continue developing professionally while taking on meaningful responsibility.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support healthcare projects from pre-construction through closeout, collaborating closely with senior project leaders, clients, architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.

  • Participate in meetings with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to review project progress and resolve issues
  • Maintain project tracking logs, open item lists, schedules, and budget documentation
  • Monitor project budgets and schedules, including maintaining web-based project controls and reporting tools
