Job summary

MPI seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support ground-up commercial and industrial construction projects across the Southeast. You will assist in managing budgets, schedules, subcontractor performance, procurement, and project documentation, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers and field teams to keep progress on track.

You will contribute to cost tracking and financial forecasting, participate in project meetings, ensure quality and safety compliance, and help deliver projects on

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

  • Experience supporting ground-up commercial or industrial construction projects.
  • Exposure to warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, food and beverage, or light industrial projects preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes and construction documentation.
  • Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Eagerness to learn, take ownership, and grow within a collaborative construction team.
