Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Gas Distribution Assistant Project Manager to assist and coordinate aspects of gas distribution operations and back-office functions. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of gas distribution projects, while also managing administrative and logistical support functions.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Coordinate and resolve call-outs and crewing issues to ensure uninterrupted field operations.
  • Monitor job progress and schedule changes, adjusting resources as needed.
  • Manage materials inventory, including tracking quantities, types, and stock levels.
  • Complete and review EV worksheets for accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate in UGI scheduling and operational meetings.
  • Address and resolve UGI operational issues and customer complaints.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with safety protocols, including PPE usage, training, and audits.
  • Oversee the preparation of as-built drawings for mainline work.

Back-Office Administration:

  • Conduct mark-in-white field visits (approx. 1.5 full days of driving weekly).
  • Manage PA One Call responsibilities and ensure timely responses.
  • Handle all claims processes, including internal damage reports and alleged violation reports within 3-day deadlines.
  • Resolve fleet issues such as breakdowns, tows, and equipment changes.
  • Address HR-related matters, including staffing, performance, and compliance.
  • Coordinate IT issues, replacements, and equipment distribution.
  • Maintain and organize all project-related paperwork, including job plans and UGI job packets.
  • Review and document daily units and revenue by crew in Excel.
  • Ensure 100% accuracy in Codex entries (timesheets, leave requests, equipment logs).
  • Utilize FSM for dispatching and assigning field tasks.
  • Oversee invoicing and Comdata processes.

Work Environment:

  • Role with a mix of office-based tasks and fieldwork.
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions and travel to job sites as needed.
