Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Valparaiso, IN for a 12-month contract. You will support the Coordinator group, monitor costs and schedules, and help develop procedures and reports.

Requires a technical degree with experience in project management and construction processes; a CM/PE2/PMIS background is beneficial. ACA-compliant options available; sit on PT Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Technical plus 2 years technical experience or 5 years project/architectural-engineering/technical experience.
• Existing Construction Manager (CM)
• Project Engineer 2 (PE2)
• Senior Project Developer
• Expand PM knowledge in methodologies, processes, tools and dashboards.
• Experience with PMIS and project controls tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide field technical/IT support for the entire Coordinator group.
• Support development of policy/procedure/training documents.
• Issue regular reports for weekend coverage, project accruals, etc.
• Monitor project costs and schedules.
• Assist with large scale construction projects alongside the Project Manager.
• Apply and integrate project management best practices and governance.
