Job summary

John Moriarty & Associates is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support construction project execution in the Washington DC Metro area. The APM will assist with scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, document management, and project logistics.

The APM will work closely with the PM and site team across preconstruction through closeout, traveling between jobsites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field required.
• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, document management, and project logistics.
• Support PM and site team across preconstruction to closeout.
• Help manage project schedules and change orders.
• Coordinate project documentation and communication with subcontractors and vendors.
• Travel daily to DC-Metro area jobsites as needed.
