Job summary

John Moriarty & Associates is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support construction project execution from preconstruction through closeout in the Washington DC Metro area. The APM will assist with scheduling, procurement, subcontractor coordination, document management, and project logistics.

The role requires a 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field and 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction, with daily travel across DC-Metro area jobsites and proficiency

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field is required.
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
• Maintain project documentation and records; support submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
