Job description

STV is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - Data Centers, Mission Critical for their Construction Management group in Mount Pleasant, WI.

We are looking for an Assistant Project Manager with experience in representing owners on capital programs, facility upgrades, renovations, and additions. The successful candidate will manage Capital Program Management/Owners Representative assignments, overseeing all project phases including budgeting, planning, design, bidding, construction, commissioning, move management, and closeout. Join STV and be part of a dynamic and fast-paced sector of the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in leading the project team, setting goals, developing policies, and mentoring team members.
  • Support project monitoring to ensure work aligns with contractual and quality standards.
  • Evaluate and develop project budgets, cash flows, and cost estimates; review purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
  • Identify potential liabilities and risks proactively.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure objectives are met.
  • Maintain relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors; resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly, anticipate concerns, and persuade stakeholders, including leadership, to support project goals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of standards, protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Guide and instruct less experienced team members.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Proven experience in project management, with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in supervising and developing team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, SharePoint, and project management software.
  • Ability to forecast challenges and develop solutions to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance.

Compensation Range: $79,899.94 - $106,533.25
