Job summary

Martin Concrete Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our Critical Projects Group on complex concrete construction projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams to coordinate activities from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality.

This onsite role requires a bachelor’s in construction management and at least three years of experience; proficiency with Bluebeam,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field.
• Three or more years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer on large commercial concrete construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and concrete scopes of work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication with clients, subcontractors, field personnel, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, and logistics alongside Project Managers, Project Executives, and operations leadership.
• Coordinate project execution onsite with field teams, clients, subcontractors, and project leadership.
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Track daily field production using Bluebeam while maintaining weather logs, production reports, material tracking, and project documentation.
• Coordinate material procurement and communicate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Review invoices, verify pay applications, and assist with accurate project cost coding.
• Lead and document weekly project meetings to maintain communication and accountability across project teams.
• Support quality control, punch-list completion, and successful project closeout activities.
• Assist with maintaining project schedules and identifying potential risks before they impact project performance.
