GMi in Texas seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support project managers in overseeing construction projects from turnover through closeout. The role emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence, while aligning with GMi’s quality standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, performance-driven, and capable of coordinating field and office teams to maximize results and customer satisfaction. Local travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have construction industry experience, with drywall, metal framing, acoustical ceilings, and exterior cladding.
• Excellent budgeting, planning and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.

Responsabilités

• Assist in managing projects from setup through closeout, including buyout, submittals, documentation, and financial tracking.
• Support contract review, issue purchase orders, process change orders, and route invoices for payment.
• Help manage project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
• Monitor progress, track percent complete, and provide schedule and cost updates.
