Job summary

MK Concrete Construction is seeking an adaptable Assistant Project Manager to support Senior Project Managers in planning, directing, and delivering commercial construction projects. You will forecast, report, document, and communicate across teams while helping maintain strong client relationships and contributing to business development efforts.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS in a related field, PM discipline training, and 1–3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with M-K or similar firms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• PM discipline training or coursework encouraged.
• 1–3 years’ experience as a Project Engineer with M-K or a commercial general contracts firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet owner and company goals.
• Assist with forecasting, reporting, and maintaining accurate project records.
• Utilize effective processes, technology, and teamwork to ensure project efficiency.
• Manage small projects as assigned, with oversight.
• Build and support client relationships and identify future business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to achieve project and company objectives.
• Provide mentoring support to field and project staff as appropriate.
• Participate in industry events and represent the company professionally.
• Follow all company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
