Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support project management services across real estate, infrastructure, energy and resources.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders to support project delivery, maintain plans, manage submittals and RFIs, and contribute to documentation, reporting and close-out activities. This role emphasizes organization, communication and teamwork on-site in Arizona.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
• Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience.
• Proactive, organized, and thorough with a strong work ethic.
• Works effectively as a team member and uses project management software.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Google tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to ensure the project meets quality standards and is completed on time.
• Manage tasks through construction processes including submittal and RFI handling.
• Assist with proposals for new or existing projects.
• Help establish project governance, processes, and systems used throughout the project.
• Ensure critical information is shared and retained; build relationships with client and team.
• Interface with executives, project members, consultants and vendors; coordinate meetings.
• Attend meetings, update issues logs, transcribe minutes, drive items to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans and participate in status meetings; close-out actions.
• Contribute monthly program reports and executive dashboards.
