Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and driven professional for a dynamic role that combines construction management and quality assurance for roofing, pavement, and building envelope projects. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards while maintaining safety and compliance. Travel is expected to be 80% of the time.

General Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of facilities engineering projects to ensure safe, timely, and within scope and budget completion. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, troubleshooting operational issues, resource management, project scheduling, budgeting, working with vendors and contractors, conducting meetings, and reporting project status. Coordinate efforts with APR and handle invoicing, change orders, and collections.

Essential Responsibilities: Construction Management

• Plan, coordinate, budget, and supervise construction projects on-site from start to finish.
• Identify and resolve project-related risks, issues, or delays.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine scheduling, budgeting, and resource needs.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, building and safety codes, and regulations.
• Monitor project progress, report performance, and prepare documentation.
• Develop site-specific safety plans, promote safety culture, and maintain high safety standards.
• Manage subcontractors and construction activities to meet schedule, quality, and budget goals.
• Assist in preparing construction schedules and resolving issues impacting schedule, quality, or cost.
• Generate and oversee construction documentation such as daily forms, safety data sheets, as-builts, and punch lists.

Essential Responsibilities: On-Site Quality Assurance

• Verify construction activities conform to plans and specifications.
• Ensure materials installed onsite are approved.
• Coordinate communication between subcontractors and the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
