Job summary

Bozzuto Construction Company (BCC) seeks an Assistant Project Manager in New Haven, CT. You will assist with negotiations, manage drawings and specs, and lead QA/QC and subcontractor coordination.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule, and budget adherence while fostering client relationships. The position requires a Bachelor's in Construction Management (or 3–5 years of related experience) and strong communication skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality multifamily/hospitality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 3–5 years of related experience in construction management
• Experience managing multifamily, tenant fit-out or hospitality renovations ranging $1M–$10M
• Strong budgeting and job costing knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist with negotiations, scopes of work, change orders, submittals and RFIs.
• Help manage construction drawings, specifications and related documents.
• Lead QA/QC processes, material expediting and tracking.
• Aid in managing subcontractors and team members.
• Ensure onsite operations are safe, on-time and on-budget.
• Build strong client/owner relationships and support business development.
• Coordinate purchasing of safety supplies, products, or training items.
