Job Description

Position Status: Full Time

Employee Classification: Administrative

Regular Work Hours: 9-10 hour shift typically

Accountable to: Operations Manager

Position Overview

The overall responsibility is to assist Project Managers in constructing projects within the established time and budget, following all company policies and procedures.

Overview of Responsibilities
  • Maintain a sense of urgency and a positive attitude.
  • Follow project start-up checklists and standard filing systems.
  • Assist in reviewing, processing submittals, proposals, change orders, and applications for payment.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and review job cost reports.
  • Support safety initiatives and visit job sites as needed.
  • Assist with estimating, bidding, and pre-construction activities.
  • Participate in project meetings and support field personnel.
  • Complete punch lists, support project close-out, and handle documentation of changes.
  • Assist in RFI processes and schedule updates.
  • Be involved in community and civic activities related to the role.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills.
  • Leadership ability and a successful project management track record.
  • Knowledge of budget management, scheduling, and proactive problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and lead meetings effectively.
Skills and Characteristics

Degree in Construction Management or similar, proficient in computers, strong communication, leadership, multi-tasking, estimating skills, disciplined, motivated, team-oriented, community-involved, self-starter, with a sense of urgency.
