This job will be located in Olathe, KS.

Regular Work Hours: 9-10 hour shift typically
Accountable to: Operations Manager
Position Overview:
The overall responsibility is to assist Project Managers in constructing projects within the established time and budget, following all company policies and procedures.
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Maintain a sense of urgency.
- Maintain a positive attitude and approach.
- Follow project start-up checklists.
- Follow company standard filing system.
- Assist in reviewing and processing all submittals.
- Assist in pricing and processing proposal requests.
- Assist in preparing prime change orders and submit to Operations for review.
- Assist in preparing subcontractor change orders (Prime first, Sub second).
- Review, critique, and process superintendent weekly schedules.
- Assist and/or process applications for payment as required.
- Assist and/or lead subcontractor preconstruction meetings as required.
- Coordinate, run, and attend OAC meetings.
- Assist in preparing meeting minutes.
- Review weekly job cost reports for overruns and make corrections.
- Assist in preparing monthly job cost forecasts.
- Prepare timely and accurate reports as needed.
- Assist in reviewing and approving small bills and invoices.
- Assist in documenting cost and plan changes.
- Coordinate the RFI process between the field and architect.
- Support jobsite safety efforts and coordinate with Safety consultants.
- Update schedules as requested.
- Visit job sites as needed.
- Perform estimating duties as needed.
- Support pre-construction activities.
- Participate in project interviews and RFPs with potential clients.
- Engage with civic organizations and follow close-out procedures.
- Assist superintendents in the field.
- Complete punch lists.
- Perform self-performed work as needed.
- Assist in estimating and bidding projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven leadership in managing projects from start to finish.
- Successful project management track record.
- Ability to set up projects with excellence.
- Strong knowledge of budget management and tracking.
- Ability to develop and manage project schedules.
- Proactive problem resolution skills.
- Leadership and relationship skills, supporting field personnel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience leading project meetings.
Skills:
Degree in Construction Management or similar, proficient computer skills, strong communication, multi-tasking, basic estimating, supervising, and leadership skills.
Characteristics:
Disciplined, dedicated, motivated, problem solver, detail-oriented, team player, customer-focused, community-involved, self-starter, with a sense of urgency.
