A Brief Overview

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Hunt Communities, the Assistant Project Manager - Development will work with the development team to support land development and master planned community projects in Central Texas. Responsibilities include maintaining project status reports, participating in meetings, and coordinating with consultants, municipal, and county staff. The role involves assisting in managing a team of planning, engineering, property management, construction, and legal consultants in the development, management, and sale of residential and commercial subdivisions.

Additional duties include supporting project controls, land holdings, municipal utility districts, preparing reports, reviewing home plans, coordinating with municipal and county staff, and assisting with economic and housing data research. The role also involves due diligence for potential acquisitions, managing landholdings, and understanding federal land development regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, finance, business, construction management, real estate, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
• 1-3 years in land development, homebuilding, or related industry.
• Understanding of construction plans, planning, permitting, and entitlement processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office, strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop project schedules, exercise initiative, and work independently or in a team.
